Hey 38! Nice website. I ran many 38 boxes w/Squad 2 back in the day. Chief Rodney was a great man. He'd always put the other units in service, but hold Sq 2! Peace be with you all. |

Keep up the good work, my dept as well is an all african american dept in NJ, known as Lawnside Volunteer Fire Dept known as the "Knock Down Crew" We too have experience many of the same hardships,however hope all is well and please forward information regarding future affairs parades ect, would like too stop by, later. Nice to see some old friends are still active at the Oaks. I have fond memories of working with Chief Willie Rodney at the old house, and being involved with Chapel Oaks during my time with PGFD. |

I like to thank Chief 38 for the support to my family (death of my father Nathan A. Perkins Sr.) I always consider Chapel Oaks as a part of my family. Soon to relocate to the area and be a returning member. |
